Description

Coconut Oil is composed of Medium Chain Fatty Acids (MCFAs), particularly the lauric acid, which is commonly found in mother’s milk.  MCFAs do not circulate in the bloodstream like other fats do, but are directly channeled to the liver where they are immediately converted into energy, thus avoiding fat buildups.  It helps in reducing weight, fats and improve blood cholesterol levels, and may lower the risk of heart disease. In addition, they help strengthen the immune system, working as an antioxidant and acting against microorganisms.
